M and I were able to get away on a little mini break last week. We were undecided as to where we wanted to go until we came across these unbelievably cheap tickets to Rome. Round trip for 22 Euros total. Neither of us had ever been there so we booked it. In preparation for our trip I read books checked websites and even contacted a fellow blogger for any tips. I felt like I was ready. That is until we were flying over Rome and looking at the aqueducts and seeing the Vatican and the Colosseum from the sky. I realized then and there that Rome was not a city for guide books but a city to be experienced ( along with a good map just in case). There is no way that in 200 or even 300 pages or more can someone describe what an amazing city Rome is and I am not going to try here either. It was an amazing trip and I can’t wait to go back.

Wait, wait, wait a minute….22 euros roundtrip? Was that through RyanAir? That is a sweet deal, and it looks like you guys had great weather too!
Yep, 22 euros round trip total for the both of us. I did end up paying a small fee to check in of 12 euros because I am not a EU citizen. The only catch is you only get to bring one 10 kilo carry on per person. Still an amazing deal. We did have great weather! It was a blast!
Wow looks like you had an awesome time Nicole. Thanks for the Postcard. I am off to Vegas this weekend for the annual Photo Marketing Convention, I will look at the the fake Venician and will be thinking of you guys.
