Do you remember making forts? Pulling the sheets and blankets from your bed and the cupboard and making your own little hide away. Why is that we stop doing that?

Happy Weekend

I found this lovely weekend home on Marie Claire Maison.  A converted boat garage 17 meters square about 180 square feet. It’s  small, chic and rustic. I love the little wood burning stove in the living sleeping area. The alfresco dining room with the white drapes, perfect for warm summer nights, are an elegant touch. There is no running water or electricity in this small gem. In my opinion the only drawback. If this were my get-away I would probably add a small bathroom and some solar power. I don’t like to be too far away from modern convinience.  Enjoy and Happy Weekend!
